The Lotus notes people had an existing campaign with a specified color pallet and pre-existing text handling style. additionally, it was important to the client that any people pictured on the poster be dressed in business casual clothing. The result was a 36"x48" poster that matched the campaign perfectly yet brought several exciting new elements into the design.
